Short Film: The Piano Recital

Independent filmmaking project based on a true story; Written, directed and edited by Erin Masters for filmmaking 1 at John Abbott College

Based on my own true childhood memory, The Piano Recital is a short film that I made as a final project for a filmmaking course (530-FL1-AB) at John Abbott College while pursuing my DEC in creative arts, literature and languages.
I worked on this project entirely on my own, besides having one camera assistant during shooting. From writing the screen play to casting the film, directing, filming and editing in post production, this project demanded all of my dedication.
This project was an important exercise in fine editing, and although it would have required more time to reach perfection, I ended up with a final product that I am immensely proud of.
